Fall Spirit Week

Finally, Fall is here. Hope it starts to feel like it soon!!

First game ball goes out to our guest speaker for chapel this week. It was great to see her return and speak to our students.

In PE this week, we worked on "the set" for volleyball. Game balls to all that made a basket while setting the VB.

In 7th grade history, we learned about Abraham and the covenant he made with God.

6th graders, bring in your donations for our 2 sports themed baskets for Fall Festival (Sat, Nov 2).

Reminder to all PE students, "crocs" are not PE appropriate.

Finally, this Friday is spirit day. BLACK OUT !! And represent FALCONS.

Picture Week

How is everyone doing?

Hope your students survived school pictures earlier this week !
Game balls definitely go out to the photographers for their work and Mrs Deese and her yearbook staff for organizing and herding the entire student body through the process, right?

In PE this week, we worked on some volleyball skills, namely serving and passing.

The fitness class began yoga workouts.

And in history we learned about what's going on in the Middle East and how it can possible effect oil production during current events and took our first quiz on "The Beginning"

September 12

How is everyone doing? What a "crazy" week. Anyone else's?

First of all, a big game ball goes to Mrs. Kirig for covering my classes most of the week, while I was off campus taking a bus drivers training class. Thank you Mrs. Kirig.

Game balls also go out to the Seniors in the fitness class for helping with Elementary PE during this time.

Don't forget pictures are Monday, September 16th.

6th graders will NOT need to dress out this day as their pictures are after PE class.
All other classes WILL dress out as their pictures are before PE class.

Labor Day Return

We had an awesome first 7 days in PE. Fitness testing is going well. Be sure to ask your student how they did on their time trail run.
6th graders, don't forget come dressed for CHAPEL on Wednesdays. We will change later after chapel and snack.
In 7th grade history we are learning about "The Beginning". Our first quiz will be later this week. Currently, current events are dominated by Dorian.
Reminder to ALL students. picture day is Monday, September 16.
Make sure to wear a LC polo.
